Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Business Support Specialist to help onboard and service business accounts, review documentation for accuracy, and assist members by phone and email. You will recommend products aligned with each business’ needs and support specialized accounts, while collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.

The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities, working independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of financial services, business accounts, and ownership structures.
• Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or collaboratively.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and basic mathematical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other business software.
• General understanding of credit union products, services, and applicable regulations.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Support the onboarding and ongoing servicing of business accounts.
• Review applications and required business documentation for accuracy, completeness, and potential risk.
• Assist members by phone and email while providing timely, professional follow-up.
• Recommend products and services that support each member’s business needs.
• Support specialized accounts, including Choice Cash, Money Service Businesses, Public Funds, Cash Management, and other business products.
• Assist with risk reviews for ACH, wire, and remote deposit capture services.
• Review account fees, maintain reports and pipelines, and keep procedures and reference materials current.
• Partner with internal teams and external service providers to resolve member needs efficiently.
