Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Engineering Support Specialist to assist the engineering team with daily activities and documentation. The role covers reporting, data maintenance in the Project Management System, and collaboration with Sales and Program Managers to produce accurate forecasts for customer quotations.

You will support onboarding, help create SOPs, and use MS Office, ERP, and Power BI to create and manage engineering items.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in business or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Workwise; AutoCAD and Adobe a plus.
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Weekly Management Report generation.
• Gathers information to create department documentation.
• Collaborate with Sales and Program Managers for engineering forecast data.
• Maintain and update the Project Management System data.
• Assist with new hire onboarding and training.
• Assist with creation of SOPs for department and projects.
• Utilize MS Office, ERP, Power BI to manage engineering items.
• Store, create, edit and restore engineering items with various tools.
