Job summary

Transdev in Fairfax County, VA is seeking a BOCC Supervisor to coordinate and disseminate information to Operators and Supervisors, ensuring on-time bus service using GPS CAD/AVL systems. The role involves proactive intervention, incident documentation, and collaboration with client teams to address detours and service issues.

The position requires at least 2 years in a supervisory call-center-like environment, strong communication, and the ability to learn new software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisor experience in a call center or similar setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn new software and computer systems.
• DOT drug testing and physical requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide verbal direction to Bus Operators and support to Supervisors.
• Intervene proactively to ensure safe, high-quality service.
• Coordinate with local divisions and clients on service issues and detours.
• Document incidents and actions in relevant databases and reports.
• Refer disciplinary actions and commendations as directed by management.
• Resolve employee disputes and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Cross-train in various roles as needed.
