Job summary

Uniti Group Inc. is seeking a Buried Drop Technician to install buried copper, fiber, and coaxial cable from the hub to customer residences in our Sanford, NC area.

The role requires overnight travel and offers a hands-on field environment supported by a team that values technology and customer connections. As part of Kinetic, a unit of Uniti, you will install, test, and promote services while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel overnight and out-of-state.
• Physically able to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform the physical installation of buried copper, fiber & coaxial drop cable to connect Kinetic's network to the customers’ residence.
• Use technical skills and customer focus to create meaningful connections with customers.
• Interpret work drawings and instructions and complete necessary paperwork.
• Sell and promote Kinetic products and services.
• Train new employees on daily job functions.
