Job summary

Uniti Group Inc. is seeking a Buried Drop Technician to install buried copper, fiber and coaxial drops from the hub to customers’ homes, with overnight travel as needed. This safety‑sensitive role emphasizes technical skill and strong customer focus in a hands‑on field environment.

Responsibilities include reading work drawings, completing paperwork, promoting Kinetic products, and mentoring new teammates. A valid license and DOT‑related screenings are required.

Qualifications

Willingness to travel overnight, including out of state travel.
Ability to read and interpret work drawings and instructions.
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
Pass pre-employment screenings including DOT physical.

Responsibilities

Perform the physical installation of buried copper, fiber & coaxial drop cable to connect the network to customers.
Travel as needed, including overnight stays out of state.
Use technical knowledge and customer focus to ensure quality connections.
Interpret drawings and complete required paperwork.
Operate equipment and conduct locates where applicable.
