Job summary

Uniti is seeking a Buried Drop Technician to perform the physical installation of buried copper, fiber, and coaxial drop cables from the network hub to customers’ residences. The role may require overnight travel out of state and involves working in a safety-sensitive environment.

You will read drawings, complete paperwork, promote Uniti services, and train new employees on day‑to‑day job functions. This is a field role with hands‑on equipment operation and customer interaction.

Qualifications

• Requires basic technology and math skills.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record are required.
• Willingness to travel overnight, including out of state.

Responsibilities

• Perform the physical installation of buried copper, fiber & coaxial drop cable to connect the network to customers’ residences.
• Use technical know‑how and customer focus to create meaningful connections with customers.
• Interpret work drawings and instructions and complete required paperwork.
