We are seeking Restaurant General Managers (RGMs) to join our team. Our restaurants are staffed with amazing people, and we are looking for more. The RGM leads the restaurant operations and holds the overall responsibility for ensuring the restaurant meets GPS Hospitality standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. The RGM works with a team of managers and has performance-based bonuses for operational and financial success.

Top Responsibilities:
  1. Sales & Profit: Achieve sales and profit budgets each period.
  2. Systems: Execute accurate projections and schedules while working all shifts.
  3. Safety: Maintain a safe and clean restaurant environment.
  4. People: Hire and train service-oriented crew and shift leaders.
  5. Accounting: Implement tight restaurant controls.
Job Duties:
  • Ensure outstanding service and guest satisfaction.
  • Hire, train, and coach the restaurant team.
  • Utilize GPS Hospitality systems for high-quality restaurant operations, including accurate projections and scheduling.
  • Implement restaurant controls, especially cash and inventory controls.
  • Develop public relations by engaging with the community and external contacts.
  • Meet standards for speed of service, food safety, and cleanliness.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring equipment is well-maintained.
  • Work all shifts, including at least one full weekend per period.
  • Follow all regulations, policies, and controls related to employment, food safety, and operations.
  • Supervise in accordance with GPS values and behaviors.
  • Communicate effectively with management about plans, progress, and issues.
  • Implement marketing promotions successfully.
  • Participate in policy implementation, training, and management development.
  • Train and develop assistant managers and trainees for growth.
Job Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of general management experience in a restaurant or retail setting.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume environment.
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US.
  • ServSafe certification preferred.
