Burger King Restaurant Assistant Manager

Join us to apply for the Burger King Restaurant Assistant Manager role at GPS Hospitality.

We are seeking Restaurant Assistant Managers (RAM) to join our team. Our restaurants are staffed with amazing people, and we are looking to expand our team. The RAM supports the Restaurant General Manager in developing a dedicated team, delivering excellent guest experiences, and achieving top-line sales. This is accomplished through effective management, teaching restaurant systems, and fostering a high-performing team. RAMs are rewarded with bonuses based on operational and financial performance.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure outstanding service and guest satisfaction
• Train and coach team members
• Utilize GPS Hospitality Systems to ensure smooth daily operations
• Implement controls related to cash and inventory
• Set and meet goals for service, operations, and financial results
• Maintain operational standards including speed of service, food safety, and cleanliness
• Manage food and labor variances and take corrective actions
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Work flexible shifts as required
• Demonstrate proficiency in restaurant operations and lead by example
• Provide feedback and coaching to staff
• Apply problem-solving skills effectively
• Follow all regulations, laws, and policies, including food safety and accounting controls
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Restaurant General Manager

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform motions such as bending, squatting, twisting, pulling, and reaching
• Work in varying temperatures
• Stand for 8-10 hours
• Lift up to 20 lbs

Job Requirements

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume setting
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US
• ServSafe certification preferred
