Job Summary

Assistant Manager (AM), Restaurants is responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers with an entrepreneurial, sales-driven spirit for the company. A key priority includes assisting the GM in the daily operation of the restaurant. Under the direction of the GM, this position will also be responsible for maintaining inventories, cash control, restaurant appearance and completing daily paperwork. Candidates should be able to strategically recruit, train and develop a productive store team whose primary focus is promoting our brand while offering exceptional customer service. The AM should inspire and encourage teamwork towards successfully achieving sales goals, upholding daily operations and most importantly, create a fun and energized environment!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service: Ensures a pleasant shopping experience for all customers, responds to customer complaints, and solicits feedback. Coaches team to maintain high service standards.
2. Clean, Safe and Secure: Maintains a facility that is inspection-ready, complies with safety protocols, and adheres to health standards.
3. Food Safety and Planning: Enforces sanitary practices, ensures quality food preparation, and maintains a professional restaurant image.
4. Hiring and Training: Assists in recruiting and training staff to meet operational standards.
5. Inventory Control: Maintains inventory, ensures proper storage, and reports variances.
6. Sales Generation: Supports sales goals through promotions, contests, and marketing activities.
7. Labor Controls: Assists with staffing schedules and daily assignments.
8. Cash Controls: Ensures proper cash handling, credit processing, and reports shortages.
9. Operations: Ensures compliance with brand standards, safety, and quality, and analyzes trends to improve performance.
