Burger King Restaurant Assistant Manager

Join us to apply for the Burger King Restaurant Assistant Manager role at GPS Hospitality.

We are seeking Restaurant Assistant Managers (RAM) to join our team. Our restaurants are staffed with amazing people, and we are looking to expand our team. The RAM supports the Restaurant General Manager in developing a dedicated team, delivering excellent guest experiences, and achieving top-line sales. This is accomplished through effective management, teaching restaurant systems, and fostering team development and service excellence. RAMs are bonus-eligible based on operational and financial performance.

Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure outstanding service and guest satisfaction
  • Train and coach team members
  • Utilize GPS Hospitality Systems for daily restaurant operations
  • Implement controls, including cash and inventory management
  • Set and meet goals for service, operations, and financial results
  • Maintain operational standards such as food safety, cleanliness, and speed of service
  • Manage food and labor variances, taking corrective actions as needed
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Work all required shifts
  • Demonstrate proficiency in restaurant operations and set a positive example
  • Provide feedback and coaching to staff
  • Apply problem-solving skills
  • Follow all legal, safety, and operational policies, including accounting controls
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Restaurant General Manager
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to bend, squat, twist, pull, and reach
  • Work in warm and cold temperatures
  • Stand for 8-10 hours
  • Lift up to 20 lbs
Job Requirements
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience in restaurant or retail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume setting
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
  • Minimum age of 18 and authorized to work in the US
  • ServSafe certification preferred
