Job Summary

Assistant Manager (AM), Restaurants is responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers with an entrepreneurial, sales-driven spirit for the company. A key priority includes assisting the GM in the daily operation of the restaurant. Under the direction of the GM, this position will also be responsible for maintaining inventories, cash control, restaurant appearance, and completing daily paperwork. Candidates should be able to strategically recruit, train, and develop a productive store team whose primary focus is promoting our brand while offering exceptional customer service. The AM should inspire and encourage teamwork towards successfully achieving sales goals, upholding daily operations, and most importantly, creating a fun and energized environment!

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Service: Ensure a pleasant shopping experience, respond to complaints, and solicit feedback. Coach team members to maintain high customer service standards.
2. Clean, Safe, and Secure: Maintain a facility that is inspection-ready, comply with health and safety standards, and follow safety protocols.
3. Food Safety and Planning: Enforce sanitary practices, ensure compliance with laws, and maintain high food quality standards.
4. Hiring and Training: Assist in recruiting and training staff to meet operational standards.
5. Inventory Control: Maintain inventories, organize storage, and report variances promptly.
6. Sales Generation: Support in meeting sales goals through setting targets, contests, and promotions.
7. Labor Controls: Assist in scheduling and assigning daily tasks based on sales and operational needs.
8. Cash Controls: Ensure proper cash handling, credit processing, and report shortages.
9. Operations: Ensure compliance with brand standards, maintain a safe environment, pass inspections, and analyze results for improvement.
