Burger King Restaurant Assistant Manager

Overview

We are seeking Restaurant Assistant Managers (RAM) to join our team. Our restaurants are staffed with amazing people, and we are looking to expand our team. The RAM supports the Restaurant General Manager in developing a dedicated team, delivering excellent guest experiences, and achieving top-line sales. This role involves learning, managing, and teaching restaurant systems effectively to meet goals, develop staff, and provide outstanding service. RAMs are eligible for performance-based bonuses, both operationally and financially.

Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure the team provides outstanding service and satisfies guests
  • Train and coach team members
  • Utilize GPS Hospitality Systems to efficiently run the restaurant each shift
  • Implement restaurant controls, including cash and inventory management
  • Set and achieve goals related to service, operations, and financial results
  • Maintain operational standards such as speed of service, food safety, and cleanliness
  • Manage food and labor variances and take corrective actions
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Work all shifts as required
  • Lead by example with high proficiency in restaurant operations
  • Provide feedback and coaching to team members
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills
  • Follow all regulations, laws, and policies, including food safety and accounting controls
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Restaurant General Manager
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform motions such as bending, squatting, twisting, pulling, and reaching
  • Work in warm and cold temperatures
  • Stand for 8-10 hours
  • Lift up to 20 lbs
Job Requirements
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume environment
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
  • Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US
  • ServSafe certification preferred
