Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Terminal Operator to oversee the safe operation of a cement distribution terminal. You will load trucks, unload railcars, perform routine maintenance and maintain quality and safety standards in coordination with a small cross-functional team.

Responsibilities include complying with laws and regulations, clerical recording of receipts and shipments, and promoting a culture of health, safety and environmental compliance on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical aptitude and ability to work safely with equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork and customer contact.
• Proficiency with standard office software (Microsoft Office, Google Suite).
• Ability to learn and retain information; attention to detail is essential.

Responsibilities

• Load bulk trucks with correct weights and product for delivery.
• Unload railcars and transfer product to silos; sample and test as required.
• Perform routine maintenance and keep terminal clean and organized.
• Document receipts, shipments and inventory following guidelines.
• Operate safely in heights and confined spaces; wear PPE as required.
• Communicate effectively with customers, drivers and suppliers.
