Job summary

TEXAS LEHIGH CEMENT COMPANY LP - HOUSTON, TX seeks a Terminal Operator to manage the safe operation of a cement distribution terminal. You will perform hands-on terminal duties, operate bulk trucks and railcars, and support inventory control while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with customers and team members to ensure timely, accurate deliveries.

Qualifications

• Able to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Read and follow safety labels, instructions, and signage accurately.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, extended hours, and respond to call outs as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and effectively communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload goods from trucks, railcars, and vessels.
• Ensure proper storage locations and accurate inventory records.
• Load bulk unit trucks with correct weights and products for delivery.
• Maintain terminal buildings and equipment and operate equipment safely.
• Communicate with customers, team members, managers, and stakeholders.
• Support safety programs with inspections and toolbox talks.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and ensure good working order.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
