Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Terminal Manager in Denver, CO to oversee safe, efficient cement terminal operations including rail/truck unloading, storage, inventory control, and maintenance. You will lead terminal personnel, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities include developing staff, coordinating with cross-functional partners, and maintaining SOPs while driving continuous improvement in terminal performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 3+ years in operations/maintenance.
• Experience in heavy industrial environments (cement, concrete, bulk materials).
• 1–3 years of supervisory/lead experience in terminal settings.
• SAP or similar enterprise systems familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all terminal activities with focus on safety, operational excellence, environmental compliance, quality and customer service.
• Ensure safe, efficient operations following Amrize policies and procedures.
• Promote strong safety culture by addressing hazards and enforcing safety expectations.
• Lead, coach, train and evaluate terminal employees to build capability and performance.
• Develop and manage employee training plans for terminal operators.
• Manage contractor activities and ensure compliance with site requirements.
• Develop and manage the terminal operating budget in line with costs and volumes.
• Oversee receiving/unloading of railcars and trucks, cement storage, inventory management and loading of customer trucks.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and communicate with Sales, Logistics and partners.
• Monitor inventory levels and develop contingency plans for shortages or disruptions.
• Develop, implement and manage preventive maintenance programs for terminal equipment.
