Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Operating Engineer to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for assigned properties in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required or preferred.
• Graduate of apprentice program or trade school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s).
• Maintain heating equipment, chillers (air and/or water cooled), DX units, pumps, cooling towers, VAV and air distribution systems.
• Monitor and adjust mechanical/pneumatic equipment, steam stations, control gauges, valves and thermostats to ensure comfort.
• Respond to emergencies and report activities to supervisor.
• Document and report maintenance activities and safety compliance.
