Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Operating Engineer in the Boise area to reliably operate and maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across assigned properties. The role includes routine rounds, preventive maintenance, and ensuring a safe, clean workspace.

Qualified candidates will have 5–7 years of experience in operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in commercial properties and hold a high school diploma or trade school credentials.

Qualifications

• Efficient operation of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial properties.
• Experience with building systems monitoring and energy management.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing, electrical, or HVAC tasks and maintain heating equipment and chillers.
• Monitor and adjust mechanical equipment to ensure building comfort.
• Inspect engine rooms, pumps, generators and electrical rooms for proper operation.
• Report activities and respond to emergencies per safety guidelines.
