Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Building Engineer to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems across plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling. You will support preventive maintenance and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities include energy management, emergency repairs, and safety-conscious operations. The role requires 4–5 years of related experience and relevant certifications; strong MS Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of related experience; combination considered.
• Universal CFC certification preferred; licenses may be required by local/state jurisdictions.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and perform demanding tasks; willingness to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire, and control systems.
• Ensure facility systems meet applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Maintain energy management program; optimize system efficiency.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow safety policies for storage and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Review building system inspections (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) for proper operation.
