Job summary

Colliers International is seeking a Building Engineer responsible for preventative maintenance and repairs of building systems, ensuring safe and efficient operations. You will respond to client requests, prioritize work orders, and maintain strong communication with clients and teams.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in building maintenance, a CFC certification, solid knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, and a valid driver’s license with a clear MVR.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years' building/property maintenance or engineer experience.
• CFC Certification (or ability to obtain).
• Solid knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
• On-call availability for after-hours and weekend emergencies.
• Valid driver's license and clear MVR.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and necessary maintenance and repairs on building mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Respond to client requests, prioritize work orders, and follow up to minimize downtime.
• Maintain safety for clients and properties by ensuring systems run efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
