Responsibilities

• Maintain quality customer service and proper use of space; respond to emergencies and relay information to leadership.
• Assist with technology use if needed and prep class materials for instructors.
• Foster a positive rapport with students, staff, administration and the public.
• Perform all other duties as assigned including activity preparation.

Assignment

• When school year recreation and enrichment programs are in session at Minnewashta Elementary from 3-3:45pm. This position reports to the Enrichment Program Manager.
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction
• Evidence of outgoing, friendly personality.
• Strong ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Evidence of ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.

Job Duties

• Take attendance of all students in enrichment and recreation classes and work with the front office to locate any absent students.
• Ensure vendors/instructors are on time and ready for class when students are released.
• Meets, greets and provides information and directions to persons in buildings so that people arrive at the scheduled location.
• Ensures quality customer service for our user groups and proper use of space. Responds to any emergencies that may arise (weather incidents, fire, intruder, etc) and follow up with appropriate building leadership communication.
• Assists with technology use if needed.
• Assists with class lists, handouts, and other necessary materials to instructors.
• Maintains a positive rapport with students, staff, administration and the public
