Minnewashta Elementary is seeking a Building Supervisor for afterschool recreation and enrichment programs. The role reports to the Enrichment Program Manager and runs from 3:00 to 3:45 pm during program sessions.

Responsibilities

• Take attendance for enrichment and recreation classes and coordinate with front office to locate absentees.
• Ensure instructors are on time and ready for class when students are released.
• Meet and direct people in buildings to the scheduled location.
• Provide quality customer service to user groups and manage space use; respond to emergencies and notify building leadership.
• Assist with technology use as needed.
• Help with class lists, handouts, and materials for instructors.
• Maintain positive rapport with students, staff, administration, and the public.
• Perform additional duties as assigned including activity preparation.

Assignment:

• When school year recreation and enrichment programs are in session at Minnewashta Elementary from 3-3:45pm. This position reports to the Enrichment Program Manager.
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction
• Evidence of outgoing, friendly personality.
• Strong ability to work independently with little supervision.

Job Duties:

• Take attendance of all students in enrichment and recreation classes and work with the front office to locate any absent students.
• Ensure vendors/instructors are on time and ready for class when students are released.
• Meets, greets and provides information and directions to persons in buildings so that people arrive at the scheduled location.
• Ensures quality customer service for our user groups and proper use of space. Responds to any emergencies that may arise (weather incidents, fire, intruder, etc) and follow up with appropriate building leadership communication.
• Assists with technology use if needed.
