Job summary

Minnetonka Public Schools is seeking a Community Education/Building Supervisor for Minnewashta Elementary to oversee after-school recreation and enrichment programs from 3:00 to 3:45 p.m. The role reports to the Enrichment Program Manager and starts at $18.54 per hour.

The position emphasizes strong communication, professionalism, and the ability to work independently while ensuring safe, welcoming spaces for students, instructors, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Take attendance for enrichment and recreation classes; coordinate with front office to locate absent students.
• Ensure vendors/instructors are on time and ready for class when students are released.
• Greets and provides information and directions to people entering the building.
• Responds to emergencies and follows building leadership communication.
• Assists with technology use if needed.
• Assists with class lists, handouts, and materials for instructors.
• Maintain a positive rapport with students, staff, administration and the public.
• All other duties as assigned including activity preparation.

• When school year recreation and enrichment programs are in session at Minnewashta Elementary from 3-3:45pm. This position reports to the Enrichment Program Manager.

Starting Pay Rate

• starting at $18.54

Job Duties

• Take attendance of all students in enrichment and recreation classes and work with the front office to locate any absent students.
• Ensure vendors/instructors are on time and ready for class when students are released.
• Meets, greets and provides information and directions to persons in buildings so that people arrive at the scheduled location.
• Ensures quality customer service for our user groups and proper use of space. Responds to any emergencies that may arise (weather incidents, fire, intruder, etc) and follow up with appropriate building leadership communication.
• Assists with technology use if needed.
• Assists with class lists, handouts, and other necessary materials to instructors.
• Maintains a positive rapport with students, staff, administration and the public
