Job summary

Minnetonka Public Schools is seeking a part-time enrichment assistant for Minnewashta Elementary to support after-school recreation and enrichment programs from 3:00 to 3:45 pm on school days. The role reports to the Enrichment Program Manager and offers a starting pay of $18.54 per hour.

Responsibilities include student attendance, coordinating with instructors, welcoming participants, and ensuring safe, well-organized spaces. Strong communication and professionalism are essential.

Responsibilities

• Take attendance for all students in enrichment and recreation classes, and coordinate with the front office on absences.
• Ensure vendors/instructors are on time and ready for class when students are released.
• Greet visitors and provide information and directions to scheduled locations.
• Maintain quality customer service for user groups and proper use of space; respond to emergencies and coordinate with leadership.
• Assist with technology use if needed.
• Assist with class lists, handouts, and materials for instructors.
• Maintain a positive rapport with students, staff, administration and the public.
• Assist with activity preparation and other duties as assigned.

Job Duties

• Take attendance of all students in enrichment and recreation classes and work with the front office to locate any absent students.
• Ensure vendors/instructors are on time and ready for class when students are released.
• Meets, greets and provides information and directions to persons in buildings so that people arrive at the scheduled location.
• Ensures quality customer service for our user groups and proper use of space. Responds to any emergencies that may arise (weather incidents, fire, intruder, etc) and follow up with appropriate building leadership communication.
• Assists with technology use if needed.
• Assists with class lists, handouts, and other necessary materials to instructors.
• Maintains a positive rapport with students, staff, administration and the public
