Idi-Distributor is seeking a Sales Representative to establish our presence in the market by identifying, closing, and retaining customers. You will prospect actively, visit job sites, and promote the full IDI catalog to drive growth and long-term relationships.

The role requires strong negotiation skills, organization, and the ability to travel up to 60% while maintaining accurate reporting and compliance with company processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or similar experience preferred.
• 3+ years in sales—insulation or building materials preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel ~60% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop prospective customers and build strong relationships.
• Make in-person sales calls on residential and commercial customers via office and jobsite visits.
• Promote all items within the IDI catalog to potential customers.
• Ensure customers have current pricing and are aware of market changes.
• Follow up on sales leads in a timely manner.
• Complete paperwork thoroughly; submit activity and expense reports weekly.
• Attend safety meetings and participate in training events; promote company values.
• Attend company functions and perform other duties beneficial to IDI.
