Carter Lumber is seeking an Outside Sales Representative in Savannah, GA to build and maintain relationships with contractors and builders. You will sell our full line of building materials and installed services, manage jobs and client relationships, and visit sites to ensure successful project outcomes.

The role emphasizes heavy communication, on-site visits, and proactive follow-through to secure repeat business and growth within a multi-state, family-owned company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building materials outside sales.
• Knowledge of home building basics.
• Create material estimates/quotes and special orders.
• Open new accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Learn to read blueprints and provide material take off lists.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized.
• Strong planning and communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsabilités

• Find and close sales for our full line of building materials and installed services.
• Manage each job and the ongoing relationship with contractors, builders, and remodelers.
• Visit job sites as needed and maintain project schedules.
• Provide accurate material takeoffs and quotes.
• Communicate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and service.
