Job summary

QXO is a leading distributor and installer of building products. The Inside Sales Representative provides exceptional customer service while supporting sales growth through product knowledge, quotations, order management, and customer relationship development.

This role serves as the primary contact for contractors, builders, homeowners, and commercial customers by assisting with product selection, pricing, order processing, and project support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in Business, Construction, or related field is a plus.
• Experience in inside sales, sales support, customer service, or front-line retail sales is preferred.
• Knowledge of lumber products, building materials, and construction applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for customers via phone, email, and walk-in inquiries
• Receive and process requests for quotations, orders, returns, cancellations, product information, pricing, billing inquiries, and order corrections
• Provide accurate pricing, quotations, and product recommendations for building materials and related products
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, homeowners, commercial customers, and vendors
• Identify customer needs and recommend products and solutions that support successful project outcomes
• Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving questions, concerns, and product issues promptly and professionally
