Job summary

QXO in Laurel, MD is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to deliver exceptional customer service while driving sales through product knowledge, quotations, and accurate order management. • High school diploma or equivalent; additional business/construction education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers via phone, email, and walk-in inquiries.
• Process requests for quotations, orders, returns, cancellations, pricing, and order corrections.
• Provide accurate pricing, quotations, and product recommendations for building materials.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, homeowners, commercial customers, and vendors.
• Coordinate order fulfillment with warehouse, yard, purchasing, production, and delivery teams.
• Support Outside Sales through quotation preparation, project coordination, and account management.
• Plan and implement prospecting and customer outreach to generate new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with operations and other teams to ensure seamless order execution.
