Job summary

The Werba Property Management team is hiring a Building Maintenance Employee to care for a portfolio of properties. The role focuses on general maintenance, electrical and plumbing repairs, boiler and HVAC support, painting, and preventative tasks.

You will work overtime or weekends for emergencies, with a Monday-Friday core schedule and after-hours calls as needed. The position requires reliable, safety-conscious teamwork and strong communication with tenants.

Qualifications

• Experience in general property maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems.
• Strong safety and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance, orderliness, and cleanliness of buildings and equipment.
• Carry out daily work orders independently.
• Read and interpret technical literature and manuals.
• Repair electrical, plumbing, mechanical and HVAC systems as needed.
• Build and repair cabinets, counters, doors, etc.
• Paint and plaster as needed.
• Report concerns to management.
