Qualifications

• 2–3 years of property maintenance or handyman experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing, basic electrical, and drywall/painting.
• Must own a reliable truck or van and a standard set of tools.
• Ability to write clear maintenance updates for management.

Responsibilities

• Fix minor leaks and replace faucets and toilet components.
• Unclog drains and toilets using professional tools.
• Inspect plumbing fixtures and report conditions to management.
• Diagnose small electrical problems and replace outlets or switches.
• Perform basic HVAC maintenance and ensure proper airflow.
• Paint interiors and exteriors during tenant turnovers.
• Handle minor carpentry tasks and door hardware.
• Assess requests for licensing or specialized equipment.
• Coordinate with licensed contractors when needed.
• Maintain safe work environment and follow policies.
• Assist with property inspections.
