Job summary

CCS Facility Services is seeking a Building Engineer I to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, and life-safety systems at a Denver property. The role requires working under supervision and taking ownership of assigned tasks as needed.

You will support safety programs, respond to after-hours emergencies, and assist in maintaining building operations and documentation to ensure reliable services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Universal EPA Refrigerant Handler License required.
• NATE Certified HVAC Technician preferred.
• Refrigeration Operating Engineer or Stationary Engineer License required.

Responsibilities

• Complies with codes, regulations and directives related to building operations and safety.
• Maintains electrical systems and components; troubleshoots circuits and safety devices.
• Maintains HVAC systems and BAS; responds to calls and performs preventive maintenance.
• Oversees life safety systems and emergency equipment; records inspections.
• Assists with after-hours emergencies and on-call rotation.
• Keeps mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams up to date.
