Job summary

CCS CCS Facility Services in the United States is seeking a Building Engineer II to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair of building systems for safe and efficient operation of the property. The role requires following supervisor directions, taking ownership of assigned projects, and maintaining quality workmanship.

You will work on electrical and HVAC systems, life safety, and basic mechanical drawings, coordinating with property management and subcontractors as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical systems and safety procedures.
• Experience in HVAC preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with life safety systems and recordkeeping.
• Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Complies with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Maintains safety awareness and proactive operating practices.
• Assists with electrical work including outlets, switches, lighting and circuit protection.
• Supports HVAC maintenance, BAS and control systems, and preventive tasks.
• Maintains life safety records and responds to alarms or trouble calls.
• Maintains drawings, tools, and orders materials; arranges subcontractors when needed.
• Participates in ongoing learning and professional development.
