Job summary

CCS CCS Facility Services is seeking a Building Engineer I to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on building systems in a fast-paced environment. The role requires hands-on technical skills with HVAC, electrical, and life safety systems, and involves working under supervision with some project ownership.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and at least 3 years of building operation experience.

Qualifications

• Solid ability to safely and properly use basic hand tools and electrical testing equipment.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, HVAC, and building mechanicals.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Complies with all applicable codes, regulations and directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Responds to afterhours emergencies and on-call rotations as required.
• Maintains and repairs building systems including HVAC, electrical, lighting, and life safety.
• Coordinates with subcontractors and monitors work for quality and safety.
• Performs preventive maintenance and reacts to corrective repairs to ensure safe operation.
