Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Building Engineer to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems including plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, and fire/life safety. You will support preventive maintenance programs and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment, optimizing energy use, and guiding others within the team while operating under CBRE's RISE values. U.S. work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of related experience.
• Universal CFC certification preferred and licenses as required by local jurisdictions.
• Ability to meet physical requirements and lift 50 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, and life-safety systems.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Maintain an energy management program and optimize system efficiency.
• Support preventive maintenance programs and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow policies for handling hazardous materials and maintain a safe workplace.
• Review building systems to ensure operation within design specifications and environmental targets.
