Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Long Beach, MS is seeking a Building Enclosure Project Associate to support field investigations, testing, and reporting for a Southeast Building Science + Infrastructure team.

You will collaborate with experienced consultants and multidisciplinary teams to evaluate enclosure performance, support construction quality, and deliver practical solutions for various facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural Engineering, or Architecture (NCARB).
• 2+ years of building enclosure consulting experience including field investigations, testing, commissioning or forensic assessments.
• Licensure or certification (P.E., R.A., IIBEC certifications) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support building science & infrastructure projects through field investigations, testing, analysis, and reporting.
• Conduct site observations of roofing and enclosure systems and interpret drawings or site plans.
• Assist with drafting or CAD work and with development of testing protocols and plans.
• Interpret test results, identify deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist with forensic assessments, commissioning, and enclosure investigations.
• Assist with design reviews and peer review of specs and submittals.
• Maintain familiarity with IBC, ASHRAE, ASTM, and CSI codes.
