Job summary

Automated Logic Corporation seeks a Controls Account Executive to drive sales of building automation and controls solutions from a base in Northern, VA. This role reports to sales leadership and collaborates with engineering and operations to tailor proposals and close contracts.

You will conduct site visits, prepare estimates, participate in bid processes, manage customer relationships, and maintain accurate forecasts in CRM, while staying abreast of industry trends and product offerings.

Qualifications

• Prospecting and opportunity qualification; negotiation skills.
• Technical understanding of building automation, HVAC controls, and BACnet-based systems.
• Ability to interpret plans and specifications.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Organizational and time management to handle multiple bids and customer interactions.
• Proficiency with CRM software, MS Office, and basic business reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field; equivalent experience in related industries.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Manage existing customer accounts.
• Present tailored solutions addressing energy management, comfort, and system integration.
