Job summary

Tucker Mechanical, Inc. is seeking an Account Executive focused on building automation and controls to drive growth and revenue. You will develop opportunities, expand existing accounts, and deliver energy-based solutions for HVAC and mechanical services across client projects.

As a trusted advisor, you will educate clients on energy rebates and coordinate with service, installation, and project teams to ensure value and margin goals are met.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in BAS/BMS, HVAC controls or related sales.
• Ability to read plans/specs, develop proposals, and close deals.
• Strong prospecting, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred in business/engineering/CM.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for meetings and site visits.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and close opportunities; expand relationships within accounts.
• Review plans, specs, and field conditions; define scopes and estimate BMS projects; prepare proposals.
• Apply HVAC and energy-management knowledge to recommend efficient solutions.
• Lead meetings, site walks, RFP responses, negotiations, and close activities.
• Coordinate turnover to operations, installation, and service teams; set clear expectations.
• Build relationships with building owners, facility teams, and engineers.
