Job summary

LONG Building Technologies, an HVAC and building automation leader, seeks a Sales Engineer in Anchorage to sell temperature control projects and drive profitable growth. You will engage building owners, engineers, and contractors on design-build, plan/spec projects, and translate customer needs into winning proposals.

You will need strong HVAC/building automation know-how, a client-focused mindset, and the ability to manage a territory with multi-million dollar bookings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in building or HVAC systems.
• Strong technical and financial aptitude to estimate and quote jobs.
• Ability to read mechanical plans and specifications.
• Excellent communication with all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow assigned territory of building owners, engineers, and contractors.
• Develop plans to pursue sales opportunities and win bookings.
• Prepare accurate sales proposals, estimates, and presentations.
• Demonstrate technical aspects of products and solutions to customers.
• Coordinate with operations and finance to close sales and ensure turnover.
• Maintain sales activity and forecast reports and participate in training.
