University of Nebraska-Lincoln seeks a Building Access Manager to lead and manage building access software systems and operations. You will analyze, maintain, update, and control access systems, coordinate projects with campus departments, and supervise building access associates.

Responsibilities include prioritizing projects, providing hardware and software support for related university systems, and ensuring compliance with security policies.

Description of Work

Provide leadership and management of building access software systems and operations. Analyze, maintain, update, and control the building access systems. Minimum Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent advanced learning attained via professional level work experience.
• Computer science or related field.
• Three years of professional level work experience with maintaining and designing physical access control systems, Windows, and SQL .
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and software.
• Working knowledge of current Microsoft desktop and server platforms, experience with SQL Server, configuring hardware and software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science or related field, physical security systems design, maintenance, and operation.
• Experience in configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of physical access control systems, card access systems, and components.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Expert knowledge of physical access control systems and card access systems. Experience with Networking, Grouper, identity management tools, active directory, Microsoft SQL , building and managing Windows servers.
• Project Management Professional, PACS certification.
