Builders Aurora LBM – Smith Road is seeking a Branch Sales Representative to be the sales team presence at the Smith Road location, greet customers, assist contractors, and process sales transactions.

You will manage inventory inquiries, support the sales team with orders and quotes, and maintain product knowledge to help customers make informed purchases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably in a construction or building materials environment.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, Microsoft Office applications, and general computer systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers, vendors and team members.
• Ability to sit for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the Smith Road Office, providing exceptional customer service. Direct other visitors to the appropriate department or team member as needed.
• Answer incoming calls through the office phone system, assisting customers and routing calls appropriately in a professional and timely manner.
• Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and handle cash, credit, or other payment methods.
• Manage inventory inquiries, check stock and special orders availability to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of product lines and pricing to effectively support customer purchasing decisions.
• Support the sales team by processing orders, entering quotes, and assisting with other sales-related administrative tasks as needed.
