Job summary

Arrow Building Center, Lampert Lumber and Lyman Lumber Companies, divisions of US LBM, are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support new and existing customers with product quotes and information, both in person and by phone.

You will generate quotes, provide product dimension information, and coordinate with outside sales to maintain schedules, stock levels, and timely deliveries. Must have 1–3 years in building materials and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of inside sales experience preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in building material industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection, prices, quotations, and scheduling of deliveries.
• Initiate telephone calls to customers to generate sales.
• Enter work orders, credit returns, and service requests; file paperwork accordingly.
• Coordinate purchase and delivery of special products; obtain pricing and availability.
• Maintain stock levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
• Develop and grow professional relationships with customers.
• Resolve jobsite issues and customer problems.
