Job summary

Golden Corral in Easley is seeking energetic individuals to join our team as a Cook. The Cook is responsible for ensuring the quality, freshness and proper preparation of all buffet items, while maintaining speed, cleanliness and organization.

Key duties include preparing Hot Choice Buffet products, grilling to standard, restocking at the Display Cooking Station, and assisting guests with carved meat options when needed. Compliance with FIFO and health regulations is required.

• Ability to maintain quality, freshness and temperature of foods.
• Capable of inventory awareness and FIFO practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Hot Choice Buffet products according to Golden Corral recipes and procedures.
• Grill items to meet quality standards and ensure freshness.
• Restock items at the Display Cooking Station when needed.
• Assist guests with carved meat options when the Carver is unavailable.
• Follow buffet production systems to maintain quality and shelf life.
• Maintain correct temperatures during cooking, holding and serving.
• Open and close administrative procedures and keep equipment maintained.
• Rotate and restock food using FIFO method; verify inventory with the Manager.
• Ensure cleanliness of Hot Cook area and all smallwares; adhere to health laws.
• Provide friendly guest service and clear communication at all times.
