Job summary

Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation seeks an Operations & Management Consultant II to support budgeting and administrative operations within the Office of Planning and Budget. The role coordinates budgets, prepares reports, and collaborates with multiple divisions to ensure fiscal integrity.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in administrative fields with budget focus.
• Ability to review, analyze, and report financial data.
• Experience with budgeting, personnel, purchasing, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide budget coordination for Executive Direction and quarterly plans.
• Attend budget meetings with budget staff and programs.
• Prepare negative balance reports and agency rate analyses.
• Prepare and reconcile salary projections.
• Disseminate quarterly Spending Plan documents to budget staff.
• Coordinate budget-related training with Budget Office personnel.
• Collaborate on Agency Long Range Plan, CIP, and Legislative Budget Requests.
• Provide general administrative support and backup to the Administrative Assistant.
