The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission seeks a Government Operations Consultant II to oversee statewide purchasing, budgeting, travel, and hiring.

Based in Tallahassee, this full-time role supports the Conservation Engagement and Education office and may supervise staff in the future; candidates should have strong process knowledge and the ability to navigate state contracting rules.

Formación

• 5 years of professional experience in office management, purchasing, budget, personnel, or an agency program area.
• Substitution of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of professional experience in office management, purchasing, budget, personnel, or an agency program area.
• Substitution of a master's degree from an accredited college or university, OR
• A doctorate from an accredited college or university can substitute for the required experience.

Responsabilidades

• This position could supervise other positions in the future.
• Support purchasing, budgeting, travel, and hiring needs for the statewide team.
• Prepare contracts, bids, and purchase orders and route accordingly.
• Conduct periodic meetings and provide training and guidance on policies and procedures.
