The Budget Analyst supports the management of the University operating budget through the analysis and administration of personnel actions, financial data, and budget activity. The position applies knowledge of Banner finance, human resources/payroll processes, fund accounting, and University processes to evaluate complex transactions, maintain accurate financial information, develop decision-support reporting, and assist campus departments. The work requires substantial analysis, independent judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to identify and resolve financial and system‑related issues.
