Job summary

Unitek Learning seeks qualified nursing faculty to join its College of Nursing and associated campuses. The role supports didactic and clinical instruction, with orientation for new faculty and ongoing assessment of instructional initiatives.

A valid RN license and at least four years of patient-care experience are required, with a Master’s or higher in nursing or related education. Clinical teaching experience is valued, and opportunities exist within Psychiatric, Geriatrics, Med/Surg,

Qualifications

Hold a valid, active nursing license issued by the State Board of Registered Nursing.
At least four years of RN experience providing direct patient care.
Clinical experience within the last five years counts toward direct patient care.
Expertise in one of the following areas: Psychiatric, Geriatrics, Med/Surg, Pediatrics, OB-Gyn, Mental Health.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with instructors to prepare, administer, and grade examinations.
Ensure attendance and grading records are maintained and submitted.
Assist with planning and assessment of instructional initiatives for program quality.
Orient new faculty to theory and clinical facilities for courses.
Utilize teaching strategies that address adult learners and enhance content with online tools.
Maintain student records and assist with data collection for program reporting.
Stay current with new technologies and safety regulations and participate in faculty meetings.
