Job summary

Unitek Learning is seeking a nursing educator to join our faculty to guide theory and clinical experiences. You will collaborate with instructors to prepare, administer, and grade exams and to ensure student success.

We value adult learning principles and ongoing evaluation of student performance, with participation in faculty meetings and program reporting. A State RN license and an advanced nursing degree are required, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• No teaching experience is required; Faculty Development training will help you succeed in a classroom setting.
• Hold a valid, active RN license issued by the State Board of Registered Nursing
• Master's in Nursing or higher with coursework in nursing or education, administration

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with instructors in preparing, administering, and grading examinations.
• Ensure attendance and submit grades.
• Plan and evaluate instructional initiatives to ensure program quality.
• Plan orientation for new faculty in theory and clinical facilities.
• Utilize adult learning principles in teaching.
• Support online activities to enhance course content.
• Maintain student records and assist with data collection.
• Submit program reports to the program Director in a timely manner.
• Keep current with health and safety regulations and new technologies.
• Attend faculty meetings and participate in advisory activities.
• Supervise student clinical experiences in assigned facilities.
• Evaluate student performance relative to learning outcomes.
