Job summary

Unitek College in Utah is seeking a nursing faculty member to support and enhance the nursing program. You will contribute to planning, delivering, and evaluating clinical instruction, with emphasis on adult learners and active student engagement.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid, active license issued by the State Board of Registered Nursing.
• Master of Nursing or higher degree from an accredited college or university that includes nursing or education coursework.
• At least four years’ experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care.
• A year of clinical experience within the last five years.
• Expertise in one of the following areas of nursing: Psychiatric, Geriatrics, Med/Surg, Pediatrics, OB-Gyn, Mental Health.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with instructors to prepare, administer, and grade examinations and participate in final course evaluations.
• Keeps class attendance records and submits grades.
• Plan and supervise student clinical experiences in assigned facilities.
• Evaluate student performance against clinical learning outcomes.
• Provide feedback of clinical performance after observation.
• Maintain student records of attendance and skills check-off forms and assist with data collection.
