Job summary
Unitek Learning Education Group Corp. in Fresno seeks a BSN Nursing Instructor to deliver clinical and skills-lab education for students in the Workforce Development Program, in partnership with Community Health Systems.
The role includes coordinating clinical rotations, supervising student experiences, evaluating performance, and providing timely feedback. The instructor will stay current with safety regulations and integrate online activities to enhance instruction.
Qualifications
- California BRN license or eligibility for CA BRN as Instructor
- Master’s degree must include coursework in nursing, education, or administration
- BSN with master's program may be considered for a Clinical Teaching Assistant
- Minimum four years’ RN experience with direct patient care
- One-year teaching experience in nursing or a course including teaching
- Expertise in Mental Health, Medical-Surgical, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, L&D, Community Health, and/or Critical Care
Responsibilities
- Provide Clinical and skills lab education to students
- Plan and supervise student clinical experiences in health care facilities
- Evaluate student performance against clinical outcomes
- Provide timely feedback after observation
- Maintain accurate attendance and records
- Ensure clinical assignments meet student and facility needs
- Observe, instruct, and evaluate students effectively
- Incorporate online activities to enrich course content
- Submit program reports to Academic Site Director
- Keep current with safety regulations and innovative technologies
- Participate in committee activities and attend faculty meetings
- Provide office hours and timely communication with students
- Perform other duties as assigned
