Job summary

Edward Jones is seeking a Business Systems Analyst II to bridge business needs and digital delivery across US/Canada locations.

The role focuses on gathering requirements, writing clear user stories, and coordinating cross-functional teams through Agile ceremonies while ensuring traceability and stakeholder alignment throughout delivery. You will leverage data insights and AI tools to drive efficient decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis.
• Experience liaising between business partners and technology delivery teams.
• Ability to translate complex needs into clear requirements and user stories.
• Experience facilitating stakeholder discussions and Agile ceremonies.
• Familiarity with Jira, Aha!, Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary liaison between business and digital teams.
• Gather, analyze, and document requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions, discovery sessions, backlog refinement, and cross-functional collaboration to support effective delivery of digital solutions.
• Manage requirements, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle, ensuring traceability from intake through implementation.
• Analyze business processes, data, and system capabilities to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support testing, implementation, go-live activities, and post-release defect triage.
• Leverage analytical data and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and decision-making.
