Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for Product Development to assess user requirements, design solutions, and define detailed business requirements and functional specs.

You will lead requirement development, system design, test planning, and release processes across derivatives data, with focus on AI-assisted SDLC adoption. You will liaise with business, operations, and technology teams, gather input from stakeholders, and drive data distribution solutions

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software product development or business analysis, focused on energy, commodity, or financial futures markets.
• Detail-oriented with ability to articulate unambiguous requirements and drive solutions.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational data modeling principles.
• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows and SDLC automation.
• Excellent written and oral communication across multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as C++, R, Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between business, operations, and technology teams through the SDLC.
• Gather product requirements from front-end users and API consumers.
• Prepare detailed data analysis and procedural documentation.
• Review data processes, build prototypes, and execute test plans.
• Collaborate with project management to monitor system requirements.

• Drive Agentic AI SDLC adoption and identify AI-driven automation opportunities.
• Prototype solutions using AI/LLM tools to accelerate requirements analysis.
